Founded in 2019, Community Bridges-Connect The Dots emerged in response to systemic issues of housing instability, discrimination, and the ongoing violation of human rights affecting low-income families and individuals. Our organization is committed to driving policy changes that prioritize housing stability and support pathways out of homelessness, focusing on the needs of those most affected by these crises.

Advocating for Dignity and Inclusion, Not Displacement!
The ongoing housing crisis has highlighted the urgent need for solutions that emphasize inclusion rather than exclusion. Current systems often perpetuate homelessness through punitive measures rather than addressing root causes. Our organization advocates for policies that prioritize the rights of individuals facing eviction and homelessness, emphasizing the importance of dignity in housing. Through grassroots mobilization and community engagement, we aim to dismantle discriminatory practices and promote equitable housing solutions that serve all.

Housing as a Fundamental Human Right
"People experiencing homelessness must be central to discussions about policy and legislative frameworks that affect their lives. Their experiences and voices are invaluable in creating effective solutions."
~ National Alliance to End Homelessness
"The right to housing entails ensuring that all individuals have access to adequate housing free from discrimination. It is vital for governments to create policies that reflect this commitment and uphold the dignity of their citizens."
~ UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
"The government has a responsibility to ensure that housing is not just a commodity, but a basic right. Effective policies must include legal protections against unjust evictions and ensure access to safe housing for all."
